I would like to ask you two additional questions:
- How do you store the Meconopsis punicea seeds untill you sow them in November?
- Is it a problem that the pots freeze solid when you put them outside in winter?

Magnar Aspaker:
I store them in a paper envelope in the fridge.. not the freezer.

I place all seeds that need cold treatment outisde in the late autumn. We usually, but not always get snow at that time. If we don't get snow the seed pots will often be solid frozen, but that doesn't seem to matter.

Magnar, heb jij M.punicea ooit gekweekt? Zo ja, kun je dan wat vertellen over de omstandigheden waaronder hij het best groeit?

Sven, toch nog maar even hier kijken. M.punicea is toch wel wat anders dan de gewone Mec's.
