Hi Maggie and Ian.
We couldn't be more grateful for the code to Ger's viola contribution to your forum. It's nice to find such a lot of the little blighters correctly named. I'm sure we've never seen anything like that many as a set without wetting ourselves over the determination of at least one before. Well, with the possible exception of the Erskine-Sheader-Birks connection, although they have tended to see fewer at a time, and have also found themselves ensnared in some of the more difficult taxonomical thickets, which Gerd did not have represented here. We notice Ger wrote of three possible new species, which he has not included in the illustrations (unless one might be our Viola trochlearis - it hasn't been published as yet). He also posted later down the site about his inquiries for a possible trip to N Argentina next year, a region we've explored several times recently. It might be mutually beneficial if we could get in touch with Ger over these matters. Do you by chance have his e-mail code, and if so, would it be 'disposable'?
Loadsa best wishes,
John and Anita
