Allium oreophylum ‘Agalik’s Giant’

Allium semenowii for the first time in bloom in my garden. I think this species is rather unsual in cultivation.

I'm sorry to say this plant is not A. narcissiflora. It seems to be A. cyatophorum var farreri which often is mistaken for A. nacsiisflora in the seed lists of the clubs. I have more than once got wrong seeds myslef. A. nacesissifloralooks quite different and I don't understand how these two species can get mixed up.

The two species that really looks very much alike are A. narcissiflora and A. insubrucum. I'm really not able to tell them apart, so I don't know if i have both the species or only one of them in my garden.

Zoals Magnar zegt, Gerrit. Dat is geen A. narcissiflora.

@ Magnar, I don't know the difference either. But you can read about the differences between those two species here: http://www.srgc.org.uk/smf/index.php?topic=3028.msg125990#msg125990

Thanks Magnar for giving me the correct name for this Allium, still a nice looking one.

Allium kunthianum bloeit momenteel eveneens.
